April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Join us this April is spreading the word about child abuse prevention. You may have noticed the blue and silver pinwheel gardens around town. These gardens represent the carefree, joyful life we want for all children. You can learn more about prevention here. You can also make a difference for a youth experiencing foster care by becoming a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) or a guardian ad litem (GAL). Learn more about becoming a CASA in Williamsburg, VA at www.ColonialCASA.org or at www.nationalcasagal.org.

Ask your employer to help bring awareness to child abuse like I did, or tie a blue ribbon around a tree in your yard. Let's get people talking about child abuse prevention!
